'Finado' Pinot Blanc Alto Adige DOC Andrian 2020

Finado Pinot Bianco Alto Adige DOC is produced in the Andrian winery , a historic reality in that part of Oltradige which is located a few kilometers north-west of Bolzano. Founded in 1893 at the behest of some artisans from nearby Terlano, it has more than 80 hectares cultivated and its wines immediately stood out for their high quality. This wine is produced in purity from Pinot bianco vines which are located at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level and have a south-southeast orientation which allows them to have the best light of the day; the favorable exposure combined with a soil made up of a particular amalgam of dolomite, limestone and quartz porphyry, make Finado Pinot Bianco Alto Adige DOC a wine with truly unique characteristics. The harvest is done manually, the best bunches are carefully selected before being de-stemmed and pressed; the fermentation takes place inside stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature, as well as the fermentation which lasts about 6 months.
