'Fontalloro' Toscana IGT Fattoria di Felsina 2018

Fontalloro Fattoria di Fèlsina is a red wine that perfectly represents the Tuscan territory and more particularly the Sienese Chianti. Produced for the first time in 1983, this wine is a pure Sangiovese and expresses to the taste all the typical flavors of the Sienese hills. It is no coincidence that Fontalloro is an IGT produced in the upper part of Felsina, in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga and in the territory of the Chianti Colli Senesi appellation. The vineyards face south-east and are located at an optimal altitude for ripening, between 330 and 407 meters above sea level. The Fattoria di Fèlsina is a symbol of Tuscan wine production. Founded in the 1960s by Domenico Poggiali, the company was able to cope with the difficult years of viticulture by investing in the passion for wine and reconciling modernity and tradition. From this passion was born a wine like Fontalloro, elegant, with a solid structure and a great personality. Its organoleptic characteristics allow a long conservation of this wine, which however, when it is put on the market, is capable of expressing all its balance.
