'For England' Alta Langa DOCG Rosé Not Dosed Contratto 2017

The Alta Langa For England And Rosè DOCG is a sparkling wine from the Alto winery. The company is located in the Langhe and boasts a very ancient tradition that has made it over time one of the winemaking reference points of the area. The grapes come from the Pinot vines located in a calcareous and marly soil at about 700 meters above sea level (!), whose cultivation is also favored by the temperate and sub-continental climate. The harvest takes place in the last week of August, using carefully selected and hand-picked grapes which are then cooled in cells. The first fermentation takes place on the lees, where the wine remains for 42 months, the second period of fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Classic Method.
