The Frappato red wine from the Mandrarossa winery comes from the best Sicilian vineyards of Menfi, on the south-western coast of the island. A clear and authentic expression of the Sicilian winemaking art, this red wine with the Terre Siciliane IGT denomination is the result of the perfect symbiosis between tradition and innovation. A name, that of this label that embodies its essence, Frappato in Sicilian means fruity, and the latter is the most impressive characteristic of this native vine. Frappato is the fruit of grapes harvested manually in the first days of September. The harvest is followed by destemming and crushing, after which the maceration process in steel begins, finally the wine is aged for 6-8 months in cement and steel tanks. The result is a rich, intense, aromatic red with a savory and flowing sip. A typical Sicilian wine of medium body, very pleasant and with good persistence. Quite a versatile label. A must try.
