Friulano 'San Pietro' Friuli Colli Orientali DOC I Clivi 2020

Friulano San Pietro Friuli Colli Orientali DOC is a white wine with intense aromas, produced by the I Clivi winery, one of the most appreciated producers of this denomination. It is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Friulano grapes, a native variety known for centuries as Tocai. The vineyards are located on the gentle slopes of the Gramogliano area, where the old vines benefit from the marly substrate which is very favorable to the vine. Between the rows the work takes place according to the rigorous principles of organic cultivation. After harvesting the grapes, the winemaking processes do not include destemming. The whole bunches are pressed and then fermented spontaneously in large stainless steel vats. The refinement can last from 6 to 8 months and involves contact with the lees until bottling. Friulano San Pietro Friuli Colli Orientali DOC is a white that can reserve pleasant surprises even after 3-4 years of careful storage in the cellar.
