Friuli Grave Merlot DOC is one of the interesting reds of the Conte Brandolini d'Adda company. The historic Conte Brandolini d'Adda winery covers an area of about eighty hectares of land divided into two large agricultural areas between the Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia regions: Cordignano and Vistorta. The latter, in particular, is the area dedicated to the cultivation of Merlot, the one and only vine used to produce Friuli Grave Merlot DOC. The Merlot necessary for the production of this wine is grown using organic farming methods. Once the harvest has been carried out, the Merlot grapes are left to ferment in contact with their own skins for a few weeks. Once fermentation is complete, the wine is left to age in wooden barrels. Delicate and elegant, it is striking for its complex, intense aromas and flavors and with a good persistence in the mouth. Great wine.
