Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured white wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

Located in the province of Pordenone, the Conte Brandolini d'Adda estate is one of the most interesting wineries in the area and the Sauvignon Blanc Friuli Grave DOC testifies to the quality of its productions. The vineyards are divided between the properties of Vistorta, with the exclusive presence of Merlot, and the Cordignano estate where there are instead various white grape varieties, including Sauvignon, from which the typical dry white wines of the Estate are produced. A clayey terroir and a microclimate characterized by hot and very windy summers, combined with the choice of using a type of organic farming, make the vines of this area very popular. Furthermore Vistorta, an ancient border of the thirteenth century, represents a real flagship of the Conte Brandolini d'Adda winery, where a great work of protection of the centenary vineyards has been carried out, a real gem. The Sauvignon Blanc Friuli Grave DOC Conte Brandolini D'Adda, in particular, represents one of the representative labels of the company. Made from 100% Sauvignon grapes, it is a truly elegant wine: these typical herbaceous notes are immediately perceived on the nose, which veer towards a fine, almost ethereal floral. A very successful combination of exotic fruit and tomato leaves with pleasant floral nuances ranging from white rose to forest flower. A slight mineral accent mixes with sensations of peach and ripe apple. Fresh palate, savory almost saline. Bitter finish. It is certainly a wine with a marked personality, as can be seen from the grapes used: it does not leave one indifferent.
