Furiel Sauvignon Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT is an aromatic white wine produced by the Trentino winery Borgo dei Posseri . The label is obtained from the vinification of only Sauvignon Blanc grapes, an international variety that thrives on the Dolomite lands. The vines are cultivated with the Guyot system and stand on a plot of land about 550 meters above sea level. Generally towards the end of September the bunches reach the ideal level of ripeness and are selected with great care by hand during the harvest. The vinification operations begin with a delicate pressing, followed by destemming and fermentation of the grapes at monitored temperatures in steel tanks. For the refinement, the company chooses to continue with the use of steel containers, where the wine remains for about 7 months before a further rest in glass after bottling.
