Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect glass for light and medium-structured red wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

The Gamay Valle d'Aosta DOC Grosjean wine is among the characteristic labels of the homonymous winery, whose vineyards are located in the Aosta Valley, to be precise in Ollignan, where the soil is particularly difficult to cultivate, but able to give a great satisfaction to those who have been doing it with passion and dedication since 1700, like the Grosjean family. The vineyards, located at about 500 m above sea level, face south and are often subject to fohn winds, which do not allow the proliferation of mushrooms. The result is excellent Petit Rouge, Petit Arvine and Fumin grapes and, in small areas, Syrah and Cornalin. The company has adopted organic and eco-sustainable agriculture, the results of which are found not only in the quality of the vines, but also in all its products. The Gamay Valle d'Aosta DOC Grosjean wine, in particular, is born in purity from a typical Burgundy vine, the Gamay, which in the Aosta Valley has found the ideal conditions to express all its character. The vinification, which takes place in the traditional way and only in steel tanks, gives this wine particular organoleptic qualities: good balance, bright ruby red color, fruity bouquet, delicately intense, complex, soft, with good freshness and delicate tannic nuances . Excellent in combination with salami, motzetta and lard, as well as with traditional Aosta Valley soups.
