The dry white wine Gavi dei Gavi Black Label is the result of a happy placement of the vineyards and guessed oenological practices. We are in the southern part of the province of Alessandria, in the territories of Gavi and Rovereto, where the Po Valley and the Ligurian mountains meet and where the dry sea air and the brief dews allow the grapes to ripen in an optimal way. Here the La Scolca winery manages 50 hectares of vineyards and operates in respect of nature using traditional cultivation techniques. The sumptuous white Gavi dei Gavi Black Label or Black Label is obtained from carefully selected 100% Cortese grapes, harvested earlier than the average for the area and cold vinified. The company is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and favors research into the high quality of the bunches and therefore the work in the vineyard, rather than that done in the cellar. The result is a noble and complex white that ages well, a very elegant wine, famous and particularly requested by the international jet set.
