Gewurztraminer Alto Adige DOC Girlan 2022

The Alto Adige Gewürztraminer DOC is an elegant label with personality proposed by the Girlan winery, a Bolzano-based reality that has been making great wines for years. The traditional grape cultivation practices and the favorable climatic conditions for wine production are the strengths of this South Tyrolean white wine. At the base of the Alto Adige DOC is the 100% pure Gewürztraminer blend, one of the symbolic qualities of the region at the foot of the Dolomites. Every year, during the harvest, the best bunches are chosen and subsequently brought to the company for pressing. Aging takes place in large steel tanks for at least 6 months, a period during which the Alto Adige Gewürztraminer DOC can develop all its organoleptic qualities. The bottling and a further period of rest in the cellar, at a thermo-conditioned temperature, completes the process. A fine, intense aroma, supported by a strong but harmonious body at the same time, characterize this wine which is certainly rich, but never redundant or cloying. Versatile wine and able to best accompany fusion or Asian cuisine, it is perfect if consumed after 2/3 years of aging in the cellar, stored in the cellar.
