Gewürztraminer Alto Adige DOC Winery St.Pauls 2022

Gewürztraminer Alto Adige DOC is a white wine with unmistakable aromas, produced by the Kellerei St.Pauls winery. This label derives from the exclusive vinification of Gewürztraminer grapes, an aromatic variety that adapts perfectly to the harsh South Tyrolean climate. On soils composed of sand and alluvial deposits, the vines find the ideal combination of drainage and nourishment. Once fully ripe, it's time for the manual harvest. In the cellar, the meticulous work involves an initial pressing of the de-stemmed grapes, which are then placed to ferment in large steel tanks. Thanks to the temperature control, the fermentation is prolonged in a delicate way. In the same tanks, the wine remains for a few months in order to refine its scents while maintaining the varietal character. Gewürztraminer Alto Adige DOC is a rich, intense, aromatic wine and can be appreciated immediately, but also after a couple of years of storage in the cellar.
