Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured white wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

The Gewürztraminer white wine from the San Michele Appiano winery is obtained from the exclusive use of Gewürztraminer grapes. The vines are found on the hills in the heart of Alto Adige which, thanks to the combined action of a very favorable climate and particularly fertile calcareous soil, ensure the production of excellent quality grapes. The history of this winery is very ancient, the foundation dates back to 1907 and, over the years, it has become a point of reference in the South Tyrolean wine sector thanks to a perfect balance between craftsmanship and enhancement of the territory. The production process is also very accurate, starting from the harvest, which takes place exclusively by hand. After a soft pressing, we start with the fermentation which takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature and the subsequent maturation in small wooden barrels. The result is a fresh, elegant and refined white wine, never cloying, easy to drink and medium bodied, characterized by an aromatic and fruity bouquet. Given these peculiarities, it lends itself to being consumed on any occasion. Ideal with sweet and sour cooking.
