Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured white wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description
Gewurztraminer Alto Adige DOC is a white wine produced in the Terlano cellar, one of the oldest wineries in Alto Adige, founded in 1893 and currently led by a cooperative of 143 members who cultivate 190 hectares of land. The Gewurztraminer vineyards are located on the slopes facing South and South-West of the middle Adige valley on clayey and sandy soils. This territory has a climate with unusually mild characteristics, of the sub-Mediterranean type, with strong temperature variations between day and night, a factor congenial to viticulture. Gewurztraminer Alto Adige DOC is made 100% from aromatic grapes of the native Gewürztraminer vine. Fermentation is slow and at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. This wine requires about 6-7 months of aging in steel barrels. The Gewurztraminer Alto Adige DOC from the Terlano winery is a wine that reaches a fairly high alcohol content, associated with low acidity. Characteristics that contribute to the production of a very full-bodied, rich and ample wine. The bouquet expresses seductive floral aromas of tropical fruit and spices, which we also find in the harmonious and velvety sip. It is a wine that at the table goes very well with spicy dishes of Indian and oriental cuisine.
