Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
Giarborina Nebbiolo Langhe DOC is a red wine from the Elio Altare winery that faithfully reflects the character of the denomination. It is obtained from the vinification of only Nebbiolo grapes, the noble vine par excellence of the Langhe. The vines are grown on soils that stand out for the important presence of clay and limestone. Furthermore, they enjoy a south-east exposure which is ideal for producing ripe bunches. Located in La Morra, the two parcels of reference for the production of this label boast ancient vines planted after the Second World War. Once the manual harvest has been completed, the grapes are left to macerate in contact with the skins for a period of 3-4 days, to then ferment at a controlled temperature. The subsequent refinement of a year and a half takes place in French oak barriques on the first passage. Even if it can be appreciated immediately, Giarborina Nebbiolo Langhe DOC boasts the potential to refine for several years, if carefully stored in the cellar.
