Goldmuskateller/Moscato Giallo Secco Alto Adige DOC Erste+Neue 2021

The Goldmuskateller Moscato Giallo Alto Adige DOC is a fragrant white wine produced by the Erste+Neue winery, a reality that pays homage to the finest vines of the appellation. This is the case with this label, which is made by vinifying 100% Moscato Giallo grapes. It is an aromatic variety of distant Syrian origins, which has always been cultivated, with excellent results, in the South Tyrolean territory and in particular in the vineyards owned by the company. Rich in dolomitic rocks and sand, the soil gives the grapes a particular sensory profile. After a scrupulous harvest, the grapes are left to macerate in the cellar for about six hours, to then ferment at a controlled temperature in steel tanks. The refinement lasts for six months and involves a rest on the fine lees inside large steel tanks. The Goldmuskateller Moscato Giallo Alto Adige DOC is excellent immediately, but boasts good potential for further evolution, if carefully stored even for a year.
