Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

From the best vineyards of the Avignonesi winery , located near Montepulciano, cradle of the first Italian DOCG assigned to red wines, comes the " Grandi Annate " Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG , the winery's excellent wine and produced only in the best vintages. On the rolling hills between the provinces of Arezzo and Siena, at an altitude between 315 and 375 meters. taking advantage of particularly favorable soils and microclimates, the Grandi Annate reaches its exaltation. The entire production process is absolutely biodynamic: after vinification, the subsequent maturation takes place in oak barrels and barriques, where the wine rests for at least 18 months. The " Grandi Annate " Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG , obtained 100% from Prugnolo Gentile (Sangiovese) grapes, is a red wine that easily tolerates long aging. Ruby red in colour, full, elegant and enveloping, with fruity and fragrant aromas, where notes of red berried berries, sweet cherries and plums stand out, intertwined with light hints of rosemary and nutmeg. On the palate its imposing structure is softened by velvety tannins and its fresh acidity, which lead to a persistent, fruity and delicately spiced aftertaste.
