Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description

Granmassenti Perricone Monreale DOC is a red wine made by the Sicilian winery Feudo Disisa . It is the result of the exclusive vinification of Perricone grapes, a native grape variety little known outside the denomination. The vines are grown in the Monreale vineyards, not far from Palermo. The grapes can develop with great finesse by virtue of the very favorable environmental factors, as well as the meticulous work done by the cellar. Viticulture does not include the use of synthetic products and instead includes the adoption of natural techniques. After the harvest with manual selection, the vinification begins with the maceration of the grapes in contact with the skins for two weeks. This is followed by fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The refinement lasts for about 10 months and takes place in oak barriques and for a shorter time in glass. Granmassenti Perricone Monreale DOC can pleasantly surprise immediately, as well as after an evolution of 4-5 years.
