The Grappa Elevated in Wood "Barili di Sassicaia", from the Poli Jacopo distillery, is appreciated by all experts in the sector for its well-structured body and long finish. The company was founded in Schiavon, in the heart of the Veneto region, at the end of the 19th century: since then it has stood out for its genuine products, linked to tradition. The distillate is obtained from the pomace of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes, harvested by hand once the correct stage of ripeness has been reached. The liqueur is so called because the refinement process takes place in oak barrels, in which the famous Sassicaia wine is left to rest. Poli Jacopo relies on modern organic production methods, a factor that leads to the elimination of any chemical ingredient. In fact, the Grappa Elevata in Legno "Barili di Sassicaia" is a natural distillate, an expression of its land, prepared by hand in bain-marie copper stills.
