Grappa La Première Poli is produced in the heart of the Veneto region, in Schiavon, a land of excellent wines and spirits. In its elegant bottle, Jacopo Poli's great dream comes true: to produce an exceptional brandy from exceptional pomace. In fact, in 1995, the great-grandson of Giobatta, founder in 1898 of the Vicenza-based Poli Artigianale Distillery, visited the majestic Château of Pauillac, in the Medoc, in the heart of Bordeaux, classified as a Gran Cru: the maximum expression of quality in enology. It will take 12 years of patience and tenacity for Jacopo to finally obtain and transport to the distillery the pomace of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Merlot grapes that will give life to La Premiére. A brandy that comes from fine French grapes, softly pressed, aged in barriques, produced directly in the Château and distilled in the family's ancient copper still, according to the discontinuous method for small separate lots.
