It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
The Conero Riserva Grosso Agontano from the historic Gioacchino Garofoli winery is a precious wine produced only and exclusively from the selection of the best Montepulciano grapes. Vinified alone, this red is the highest expression of the winemaking art of the Marches. The result of meticulous work in the vineyard and in the cellar, Grosso Agontano is a full-bodied wine that has obtained several national and international awards. A great red for aging, the result of a deliberately low yield in the vineyard, which gives the wine its good structure. After the harvest, the properly de-stemmed grapes are pressed. Fermentation with maceration on the skins and malolactic fermentation follow, after which the Conero Riserva Grosso Agontano is aged for 12 to 18 months in wood, after which it is bottled. However, before being placed on the market, it is still aged in the bottle for a year. The result is a complex and soft wine, a particularly intense red with good persistence that emerges for its particular freshness.
