Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured white wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

Hausmannhof Pinot Grigio Alto Adige DOC Salurn Pfatten , a fruity white wine from the Haderburg winery , is a label that enhances a grape variety that is not very common outside the denomination. In fact, it is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Pinot Grigio grapes, grown on the Pfatten vineyard near Salorno, where the soils are mainly composed of sandstone. At the beginning of September, the company carefully checks the degree of ripeness of the bunches and proceeds with a traditional harvest. In the cellar, the vinification processes involve two steps carried out simultaneously: one third of the fermentation is carried out in barriques on the first step, while the remaining two thirds in steel tanks. Then follows the refinement in contact with the fine lees which lasts for six months. Perfect right from the start, Hausmannhof Pinot Grigio Alto Adige DOC Salurn Pfatten can surprise even after a couple of years of adequate storage in the cellar.
