Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Description
I Porfidi Bramaterra DOC is a red wine produced by the Piedmontese winery Tenute Sella . It is the fruit of a blend that includes Nebbiolo grapes, to which are added Creatine (20%) and Vespolina (10%). The vines reach eighty years of age and are located about 350 meters above sea level. The substrates of volcanic origin are rich in sand and porphyry, two elements which ensure nourishment and drainage for the vine. The harvest with manual selection of the healthiest bunches follows the vinification, which involves different steps based on the individual varieties. The Croatina grapes are left to macerate for about 20 days, while the Nebbiolo and Vespolina vines macerate in contact with the skins for a month. After the alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks, the wine ages for two years in large Slavonian oak barrels and another year in Allier barriques. I Porfidi Bramaterra DOC can amaze even after ten years of rest in the cellar.
