The Monferrato Rosso DOC Il Bacialè wine proposed by the renowned Piedmontese winery Braida, a reality that identifies perfectly with the Barbera vine, is the result of a blend composed of Barbera grapes (60%), Pinot Noir grapes (20%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) and from Merlot grapes (10%). The name of the wine, or Bacialè, in Piedmontese indicates the figure of the one who arranges marriages, it is no coincidence that this DOC is precisely the fruit of the exemplary union of Barbera grapes with other varieties. The Monferrato Rosso DOC Il Bacialè wine is the result of berries harvested and vinified in steel separately, which are then left to mature for 12 months, partly in oak barrels and partly in large wooden vats; after which they are assembled. Before being placed on the market, Bacialè must still be aged in the bottle for 4 months. The end result is a balanced red wine, which proves to be warm, harmonious and particularly pleasant on the palate when tasted.
