It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

The Bolgheri Rosso DOC Il Bruciato by Tenuta Guado al Tasso di Antinori is an excellent Tuscan red wine, made from a blend composed of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (30%) and Syrah (20%) from vineyards cultivated in the near Bolgheri. A terroir wine, born in 2002, which well describes the prestigious local specificity of the Bolgheri DOC area, one of the most renowned in Tuscany. Produced every year, except in 2003, this great red has received several important awards. Among these are the 5 clusters of the Bibenda AIS Guide. After a careful harvest, the selected grapes are destemmed and softly pressed, then they undergo maceration on the skins in steel, then a part of the must ferments at low temperatures, in order to maintain its varietal aroma. Malolactic fermentation follows, which takes place partly in barriques and partly in steel, after which the Bolgheri Rosso DOC Il Bruciato is blended and aged in wood for 10 months, after which it is bottled. However, before being placed on the market, it still ages in glass for 4 months. The result is an elegant, particularly intense red that emerges for its perfect balance, a wine with a rich and very pleasant sip. Excellent drunk today, it is extraordinary left to mature in the cellar for a few years.
