'The Nebbio' Langhe DOC Pio Cesare 2021

Nebbio Langhe DOC is a wine produced at the Pio Cesare winery in Alba. The company is a point of reference in the Langhe area and is appreciated all over the world thanks to the quality of its bottles. The blend includes almost exclusively Nebbiolo grapes plus a small percentage (5%) of Pinot Noir. The vines are grown on soils rich in limestone and clay. The climate, characterized by the presence of the Alps and the Ligurian Sea, helps to give greater expression and harmony to the product. After the manual harvest and the 20-day maceration, fermentation takes place in steel tanks. Refinement always takes place in steel containers and then proceeds with bottling and marketing. The wine is a revisited version of the classic Nebbiolo made in order to enhance the freshness and nobility of the grape. Nebbio Langhe DOC is an elegant and refined wine, perfect for immediate drinking, but with an aging potential of 2 or 3 years.
