Risveglio Chianti DOCG Governo All'Uso Toscano is a red wine produced by the Florentine winery Valvirginio . The label is largely obtained from grapes of the autochthonous Sangiovese vine, to which is added a small percentage of Colorino grapes, a less productive but much appreciated local variety. The vineyards are located in the Montespertoli area, where they are cultivated until the manual harvest according to methods that denote a sustainable approach. The peculiarity of the vinification method, which dates back to the distant fifteenth century, involves the addition of slightly dried grapes after fermentation. In this way it is possible to give personality and structure to the wine, making the color more intense. For the refinement, the company chooses large glass-cement tanks, a material that allows the varietal notes to be kept intact. Risveglio Chianti DOCG Governo All'Uso Toscano is an ideal red to be enjoyed immediately or within 3-4 years of bottling.
