Description
Inganno 572 Spumante Metodo Classico Extra Brut is made by the Lombard Calatroni winery, one of the most appreciated production realities of the denomination. It is the result of the vinification and sparkling process of Riesling Italico grapes, a variety that lends itself to giving life to grapes with an aromatic minerality. In the Oltrepò Pavese area, the vineyards can enjoy unique characteristics, including a favorable microclimate and a substrate made up of limestone and clay. Once the perfect degree of ripeness has been reached, the bunches are selected and harvested by hand. In the cellar, the grapes are destemmed and then fermented in stainless steel vats. In the best tradition of the Classic Method, the second fermentation in the bottle follows on the fine lees for 9 months. Once the refinement is complete, disgorgement is foreseen with the addition of a little dosing liquid. Inganno 572 Spumante Metodo Classico Extra Brut is excellent immediately, as well as after a couple of years of further evolution in the cellar.
