'Jakot' Venezia Giulia IGT Dario Princic 2019

Jakot Venezia Giulia IGT is an intense and structured white wine produced by the Dario Princic winery. The label is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Friulano grapes, a white berried variety widespread since ancient times and previously known as Tocai. On substrates with a prevalence of marl, the sixty-year-old vines find particularly favorable soil. The owned plots are managed wisely, limiting human intervention up to the rigorous manual harvest. The long alcoholic fermentation with maceration on the skins lasts three weeks and gives the wine unmistakable orange hues. For refinement, the company focuses on fine oak barrels, where the wine remains for about two and a half years before being bottled. Jakot Venezia Giulia IGT is a white that lends itself to long evolutions, giving pleasant sensations even after 6-7 years of rest in the cellar.
