'Kabir' Moscato di Pantelleria DOC Donnafugata 2021

Moscato di Pantelleria DOP "Kabir", from the Donnafugata winery, was born as a real tribute to Arab culture and atmospheres: the latter are particularly alive on the island where the white wine in question is produced. Pantelleria is characterized by a perfect climate for growing vines and a winemaking tradition that dates back to ancient Greece. Regarding the aforementioned references to the Arab world, the term Kabir derives from this language and can be translated as "The Great". For the production of Moscato di Pantelleria DOP "Kabir" the 100% Zibibbo Moscato grape is used, the grapes of which are harvested manually from low sapling plants of at least 100 years of age. Donnafugata's Moscato di Pantelleria DOP "Kabir" is a wine with a pleasant straw yellow color and a soft and rich taste. It is aged in tanks and left for another 2 or 3 months in the bottle before being put on the market. A Moscato characterized by citrus notes, low alcohol content and ideal to accompany countless desserts.
