'Kalk' Chardonnay Alto Adige/South Tyrol DOC Nals Margreid 2022

Kalk Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC is a crisp white wine made by the South Tyrolean winery Nals Margreid . The label is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Chardonnay grapes, an international vine capable of expressing itself in an excellent way on Dolomite soils. Thanks to the mineral richness of the substrate composed of calcareous gravel and porphyry, the vines grow in optimal conditions in the various plots located north of Bolzano. Once fully ripe, the bunches are selected with great care by hand before being transported to the cellar. Here the vinification involves the use of modern thermo-conditioned steel tanks, where the grapes are left to ferment spontaneously. The refinement also takes place in steel and lasts until the spring following the harvest. Kalk Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC is a white wine designed to be enjoyed shortly after bottling in order to appreciate its varietal freshness.
