Kerner AA Valle Isarco DOC Strasserhof 2021

Kerner Alto Adige Valle Isarco DOC is a fresh and fragrant white wine made by the Strasserhof winery. This label is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Kerner grapes, a variety originating in Germany and today widespread at the foot of the Dolomites. The plots are located about 700 meters above sea level near Novacella, where they enjoy the optimal conditions for producing healthy bunches. Once the ideal degree of ripeness has been reached, the harvest involves the manual selection of the grapes before being transported to the cellar. Here the grapes are delicately pressed and then placed to ferment in large steel tanks. Even the subsequent refinement step, which lasts about 7 months, involves the use of steel tanks to preserve the varietal characteristics. Kerner Alto Adige Valle Isarco DOC can be appreciated immediately, as well as after 2-3 years of rest in the cellar.
