Description
The Kristallberg Pinot Bianco Alto Adige DOC is one of the flagships of the Elena Walch winery. It is a superb quality white wine, made with 100% Pinot Blanc grapes. The vineyards are located at a height of about 700 meters above sea level and develop on soils rich in limestone and dolomitic rocks. The harvest involves the selection of the best bunches, which are gently pressed and then left to decant the must naturally. The fermentation is then double and takes place both in steel tanks and in French oak barriques. Maturation follows the same procedure and lasts for five months. The Kristallberg Pinot Bianco Alto Adige DOC thus obtained is therefore able to express all its notes of elegance and freshness. A very balanced white wine, it can also be consumed after 3 or 4 years of aging in the bottle, after purchase.
