Description
The Lacrima di Morro d'Alba Superiore Querciantica wine from the Velenosi winery is a DOC red wine produced in the province of Ancona, in the Marche region. In September the grapes are harvested and subsequently vinified at a controlled temperature. The vineyard, which grows on a mainly clayey soil, is 100% Lacrima di Morro d'Alba, a variety from the Marches that has an ancient tradition already known in the times of Federico Barbarossa when he became one of the greatest enthusiasts of this wine. Full-bodied and with a long persistence, it is aged exclusively in steel containers before being put on the market. The Lacrima di Morro d'Alba Superiore Querciantica is a balanced and harmonious red that can be drunk immediately, but which can also have a good evolution if left to rest for two-three years. It is a slightly tannic wine with pleasant fruity nuances. Also known as Lacrima, this variety of grape has the characteristic that, once it has reached maturity, it divides into two, letting the juice of the berry drip (tear). A rich, pleasant, fresh and fragrant wine, very fruity, with a slight acidity. Discovery!
