Lagrein Alto Adige DOC Caldaro Winery 2022

The Alto Adige "Lagrein" DOC comes from selected grapes from the best South Tyrolean vineyards and from the experience of the Cantina di Caldaro, which confirms its excellence and its unique character. The grapes that give life to this wine grow in the hilly areas of Alto Adige from calcareous and clayey soils, carefully selected to create a product of the highest quality with unique characteristics of its kind. The grapes are left to ferment for ten days before starting the aging process in wooden tanks and steel barrels, where the wine will remain for five months before being ready for bottling. The DOC designation presents further proof of the prestige of South Tyrol "Lagrein", a wine of high quality and undeniable refinement. This full and intense red is the result of a satisfactory vintage which gave the Alto Adige "Lagrein" the characteristic fruity essence and the pleasant chocolate aftertaste that distinguish it.
