Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description

The Alto Adige Lagrein DOC from the renowned South Tyrolean cooperative winery Sankt Michael Eppan / San Michele Appiano is a red that belongs to the classic line, created to best express the art of traditional South Tyrolean winemaking. A typical wine, the fruit of a native vine cultivated since the fourteenth century, Lagrein, whose grape, vinified alone, gives a product with a fresh and deep sip. This special South Tyrolean red takes shape from the grapes of the vineyards cultivated in Gries which, harvested manually at the beginning of October, are pressed once in the cellar, then the must is fermented in steel, after which the Alto Adige Lagrein DOC ages for 8 months in large wooden barrels. The result is a classy red that stands out for its structured and aromatic body. A wine of great balance and good persistence, for a truly unique label which, thanks to its beautiful evolution, has good aging potential.
