Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect glass for light and medium-structured red wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

Lagrein Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC is a label from the renowned Alois Lageder winery, a reality that stands out in the suitable South Tyrolean territory. It is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Lagrein grapes, which find their ideal environment in the hills near Bolzano. It is here, at about 250 meters above sea level, that the vineyards owned by the company are located. Once they have reached the perfect degree of ripeness, the grapes are harvested in September through an accurate process, aimed at carefully selecting the bunches. When they arrive in the cellar, the grapes undergo a fermentation in large stainless steel tanks at a strictly controlled temperature for two weeks. The next stage involves aging for about seventeen months in oak barrels. The result is an intense red wine rich in complex sensory nuances: Lagrein Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC is excellent to be enjoyed immediately, but boasts good aging potential in the cellar.
