Lagrein Riserva 'Vigna Castel Ringberg' Alto Adige DOC Walch Elena 2018

Lagrein Riserva Castel Ringberg is a red wine classified as Alto Adige DOC. It is produced by the Elena Walch winery in Tramin/Termeno. Castel Ringberg is the vineyard from which the wine comes, the largest in South Tyrol. The wines from this vineyard bear the additional mention "vineyard", a title that recognizes the exceptional quality of the grapes and a truly unique expressive potential. Here the climate, mitigated by the proximity of Lake Caldaro, and the excellent exposure make it possible to obtain a refined, concentrated and soft wine. The Lagrein Riserva Castel Ringberg wine is produced using exclusively Lagrein grapes, an autochthonous vine, which gives it a remarkable body and a velvety intensity. Fermentation and subsequent maturation take place in wooden barrels. Subsequently, there is a long aging in the bottle. The result is a well-structured, fresh and spicy wine, with a strong and sunny character, perfect to accompany meat-based main courses.
