Description
The Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro Frizzante DOC Nivola red wine, produced by the historic Cleto Chiarli winery, comes from the vinification of Lambrusco Grasparossa grapes. This vine, widespread in the province of Modena, was already mentioned as vitis silvestris in the IV book of the Historia Naturalis by Pliny the Elder, a well-known Roman writer and naturalist of the 1st century AD The Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro sparkling DOC Nivola red wine is a great classic the result of a vinification carried out with modern techniques, but made in total respect for traditional dictates. The result of a traditional pressing and a 48-hour maceration, this wine undergoes a first fermentation at low temperatures, after which a refermentation follows according to the Martinotti method. The result is a structured, bubbly, fresh Lambrusco with an intense sapidity and full flavour. Perfect to accompany the typical dishes of Emilian cuisine, as well as all pasta-based first courses and cold cuts appetizers.
