'Lareith' Lagrein Alto Adige Riserva DOC Cantina di Caldaro 2020

The Lareith Lagrein Alto Adige Riserva DOC is a red produced by the Caldaro winery , made exclusively from grapes of the Lagrein vine, this intense and fragrant wine summarizes the company's production philosophy, which believes in natural processes in the vineyard and craftsmanship in the cellar. The vines, which are between ten and twenty years old, stand on hills about 250 meters above sea level and draw sap from a calcareous-clayey soil, the characteristics of which can be found in the surprising personality and character of this wine red. The vinification of Lareith Lagrein Alto Adige Riserva DOC takes place with a maceration of about 2 weeks in steel tanks, where the malolactic fermentation is also carried out, while the refinement of at least one year is inside small barriques, after a light filtration it proceeds to bottling. Ready to be enjoyed immediately in combination with rich dishes, thanks to its qualities it can evolve for another three or four years.
