'Latimis' Bianco Friuli Isonzo DOC Ronco del Gelso 2021

Latimis Bianco Friuli Isonzo DOC is a wine produced by the Ronco Del Gelso winery. It is the fruit of a blend that includes Pinot Bianco (70%), Riesling (20%) and Gewürztraminer (10%). It is a meeting between varieties that express themselves at excellent quality levels on the karst lands, especially those of the Collio where the vineyards are located. The substrates are composed of alluvial deposits and boast a remarkable fertility, which is essential for ensuring the correct nourishment of the vine. The average temperatures are high, but mitigated by the breezes that come from the Adriatic. Once the harvest is complete, the grapes are transported to the cellar and subjected to destemming. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in large steel tanks. The wine also remains in the same containers for the refinement phase on the fine lees, which generally does not exceed 6 months.
