Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Ballon flute
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for classic method sparkling wines (or champenoise) and champagne: being narrow, with a pointed bottom, it favors the development of bubbles (perlage), avoiding their dispersion; the body of this glass is a little wider than a classic flute and favors the perception of more intense and complex aromas.

Description
Champagne Latitude Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs is produced by the Larmandier-Bernier winery, a company that was ahead of its time in adopting organic practices in the vineyard. This label is the result of the vinification and sparkling process of only Chardonnay grapes, in line with the Blanc de Blancs style. Thanks to the organic cultivation that protects the delicate ecosystem, the vines can thrive on the suitable lands of Oger and Avize. Once harvested, the bunches from the various plots are vinified separately. The grapes are subjected to a first soft pressing and fermented in steel tanks, where they then remain for a year to ripen. In line with the Champenoise Method, the second fermentation in the bottle involves aging on the lees and lasts for two years. At the time of disgorgement, a minimum percentage of "liqueur d'expedition" is added. Champagne Latitude Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs is excellent immediately, as well as after careful storage in the cellar for 1-2 years.
