Latour a Civitella Grechetto Bio Civitella d'Agliano IGT is a full-bodied and intense white wine, produced by the Sergio Mottura winery. It is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Grechetto grapes, a native variety that this winery knows thoroughly and fully values. The vines are cultivated with the Guyot system and rest on clayey soils which favor drainage. Among the rows the work is carried out according to the organic regime, thanks to which it is possible to enhance the peculiarities of the terroir in their most authentic nuances. Once the harvest is complete, in the cellar the process begins with the alcoholic fermentation, which takes place for a part of the lot in steel and for the remainder in oak barriques. This is followed by the refinement phase which provides for an initial passage of 9 months in French barriques, to then rest for at least another 6 months in glass after bottling. Latour a Civitella Grechetto Bio Civitella d'Agliano IGT is a complex, elegant, exciting wine and, above all, boasts considerable potential for further evolution up to 5 years.
