Description
Le Petit Alto Adige DOC , an elegant sweet wine made by Manincor , is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Petit Manseng grapes. This vine, originally from southern France, is characterized by small berries with a thick skin, a characteristic that favors the maximum sugar concentration. To raise these grapes, the company chooses its own vineyards near Caldaro, which rise at an altitude of about 300 meters on porphyritic soil of volcanic origin. Following a careful harvest phase, fermentation takes place inside wooden barrels, in a completely natural way, by virtue of the action of the indigenous yeasts that develop. Subsequently, the wine is left to age for an average period of nine months inside small oak barrels, in direct contact with its lees. Le Petit Alto Adige DOC is ideal to be enjoyed as soon as it is bottled, but also after a few years in the cellar, together with structured and voluptuous desserts.
