Le Ragone Ven Negar Lambrusco is a wine that is born in the Caleffi di Spineda cellar. The company has been handed down from father to son and represents one of the most flourishing production realities in Oltrepò Pavese. The grapes come from the Ancellotta, Lambrusco Viadanese and Lambrusco Salamino vines, grown on clayey soils and favored by the typical temperate climate of the area. The company philosophy is essentially based on tradition and the desire to keep the ancient methods intact, therefore the cellar uses the Ancestral Method. The first fermentation takes place in cement tanks, then it is refermented in the bottle with the use of indigenous yeasts already contained in the wine. The desire to favor this method is given by the desire to enhance the native vines, true expression of the territory. Le Ragone Ven Negar Lambrusco is an intense and persistent wine, which is well suited for immediate drinking, but can evolve in the cellar for a few years.
