Legend 'R' Saint Emilion Baron Edmond De Rothschild 2019

Legende Saint Emilion is a label of the legendary maison Baron Edmond De Rothschild . This full-bodied red wine is mainly obtained from Merlot grapes, present for 85%, to which is added the remaining 15% of Cabernet Franc grapes. The result is a blend that stands out for its harmony and character, capable of enhancing two very representative vines for the Bourdeaux area. On the plots owned by the large historic company, the vines are cultivated in compliance with a centuries-old philosophy and benefit from particularly favorable climatic characteristics. Once harvested with care, the grapes are treated according to the traditional way of the area, i.e. fermented in red. Refinement is the phase in which the productive knowledge of the cellar is fully expressed. For twelve months, 60% of the wine ages in steel, while 40% rests in small oak barrels. It follows that the Legende Saint Emilion has the potential to evolve for a couple of years in the cellar, even if it is perfect right away.
