'Legit' Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana IGT Tolaini 2018

Legit Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana IGT is an intense and intriguing red wine, produced by the innovative Tolaini winery. It is obtained only from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, a red berried variety characterized by unmistakable aromas. The vineyards are located near Castelnuovo Berardenga. Here the calcareous and clayey soils with a good percentage of gravel guarantee the twenty-year-old vines optimal nourishment until the time of the harvest. The vinification begins with the alcoholic fermentation of one month in contact with the skins. For this phase, French oak barrels are used, where the wine also undergoes the subsequent malolactic fermentation. The aging lasts two years and takes place in barriques, 70% of which are "first passage". Before being put on the market, the wine ages for another three years in the bottle. Legit Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana IGT boasts an important longevity, it is complex, structured, deep and can be appreciated even after ten years of further rest.
