'Les Fourchaumes' Chablis Premier Cru Domaine Laroche 2015

Chablis Les Fourchaumes Premier Cru is an excellent still white wine, produced by the Domaine Laroche winery. Obtained from the vinification of Chardonnay grapes alone, this white wine represents an expression that in terms of quality and organoleptic is very close to a Grand Cru (more than a Premier Cru, which it is). In fact, the quality of the grapes that are grown on these fertile lands is such that this Chablis is one of the best in the appellation. After a careful selection of the best grapes and a rigorous harvest, the must is fermented and matured in Allier oak barrels, where it acquires part of its complex scents. This phase is followed by the refinement phase, which lasts for eight months and during which the wine takes on particular tertiary notes, which balance the primary scents, those of fruit, which however remain very present. Thanks to its characteristics, Chablis Les Fourchaumes Premier Cru is ideal to accompany a convivial dinner and can be enjoyed young or after a few years of evolution in the bottle.
