'Limonte' Grignolino d'Asti DOC Braida 2021

The Grignolino d'Asti DOC Limonte from the Braida winery is a great Piedmontese wine produced with 100% Grignolino grapes, the fruit of a vine that has its origin, as well as its territory of excellence, in the area between the Astigiani and Alessandrini hills . A difficult vine to work with which, however, gives its best with Braida. Indeed, it is precisely from the meticulous care of the vines planted in the countryside of Rocchetta Tanaro, in the province of Asti, that Limonte is born, a special wine, a perfect synthesis of the ancient Piedmontese winemaking tradition. Limonte is a high value wine not only for its characteristics, but also because it is produced in limited quantities. The creation of Grignolino d'Asti DOC Limonte starts with the manual harvesting of the grapes, continues with a fermentation in stainless steel tanks and with a subsequent maturation in steel tanks lasting 4 months; after which the wine is bottled, but before being placed on the market it must rest for another 2 months in the bottle. The result is a soft and light red wine which is characterized by its particular freshness and excellent persistence.
