'Lindenburg' Lagrein Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC Alois Lageder 2019

Lindenburg Lagrein Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC is a label signed by the Alois Lageder winery, which grows the grapes in its own vineyard of the same name near Bolzano. Obtained from Lagrein grapes vinified alone, this red wine is intense and elegant. The alluvial soil near the Isarco river and the pergola training system, which creates greater shade, allow the grapes of this vine to acquire unique scents. Once they have reached maturity, they are harvested and carefully pressed. The subsequent spontaneous fermentation involves a percentage of whole bunches to maintain varietal characteristics and tannins. Maturation takes place in large wooden barrels for a period of about fifteen months. After aging in the bottle, Lindenburg Lagrein Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC is ready to be marketed. It can be tasted immediately, but it is advisable to let it evolve further in the cellar, up to a maximum of eight years.
